The 69 gr logged 2969 FPS with an SD of 12. Both very nice velocities and standard deviations. At 500 yards, (we'll have to confirm this again) the 69 gr appeared to have a little edge over the 77 gr. Both of the loads creamed our SMK come up of 3.5 mils. 77gr Sierra TMK, 75gr Gold dot and 70gr Barnes TSX are pretty wicked. Also the 75/77gr bthp/OTM like Hornady T2 and Sierra SMK are "match" ammo but they do fragment/expand out to a good range especially out of an 18" barrel. I've killed a lot of hogs with 77gr SMK and even from a 10.3" barrel the wounds are devastating.

I shoot a mix of the aac 77 grain otm, aac 77 grain serial, aac tsx, imi razorcore 77 grain, and black hills mk 262 mod 1 for the most part right now. I do have some 55 grain thrown in there, but the heavier loads is what I usually shoot. The in house aac 77 grain has shot really well for me. I probably shot about 5k rounds of it thus far.
