I just completed the 0411 PCM swap on my 97 model Vortec 7.4. This engine is in an 89 suburban using a standalone wiring harness, from Painless. I have loaded the calibrations for the 2001 Express Van. The OS running is 12212156. I do not have a VSS hooked up since the 89 suburban didn't have one. I really doubt there is anyone out there sell a harness for this engine meant for the 0411. You might find a universal harness meant for ls swaps, but it would likely require swapping in your connectors. These arent really peanut ports. I want to swap the black box from the Blazer to a 0411 PCM. I have already emailed Lextech asking for pinouts for this application. I would like to know if there is an advantage to pinning the new PCM and tuning as an Express Van, as some have done, or if I am best to pin and tune as a 2002 Blazer. I am not sure if the pinning is the same or not.

There will be a ZN4 code on the sticker if that is the case. I pm'd lextech a couple years ago and he sent me the spread sheets. You do have to add a couple wires from the gear indicator to the PCM. For the P01 PCM to correctly control your 1999 Vortec based engine platform (4x CKP and a 1x CMP in the distributor), it must be programmed as a 2001 or 2002 Express / Savana with either an L30 or L31 calibration. 4,936. Prepare the 0411 PCM plugs, take out all wires, clean them up, I used a magic marker to highlight the pin numbers, also lay the 0411 PCM in place and plug Blue and Red plugs into PCM, mark top and bottom before you start pulling blue or red caps and pulling wires.
