Recut and rewired Nest completely. I have no idea what other steps to take, I am in Texas - it is currently relatively hot outside and I cannot find a professional until June 1st Any input is appreciated.trying to install nest thermostat, have a goodman furnace. i think i got the 4 wires correct but im getting just cold air blowing when setting to heat Installing a 3rd gen Nest thermostat. Had a thermostat working fine, White-Rodgers model # 1F78 NON-PRGM. 6 wires coming from wall, only using 4 on it.If the Nest is losing power from Rh, it would make me think that the furnace isn't outputting power anymore on the 24V system. I'd more lean towards an issue with the furnace not liking generator power, or somehow it's not resetting and coming back on when the generator comes back on.
