I was struggling with the same question but think I will go with Drow because I like the faces better. In the EA the drow has way more reactivity that half drow so i think a drow is better if that's what you're looking for.

Actually I figured it out. My character sometimes turns invisible after the attack (I think it might be a wild sorcerer thing?). I was killing the spectator with my character, who became invisible right before cutscene, and the leader drow kept walking right past her since he didn’t see her.
