UPF63R is the same as PF63 but with a stronger can and slightly thicker gasket (the U stands for Ultraguard), the filter material is different too. The correct oil filter is the UPF63r. The last year the PF63E was used on the Acadia was 2017. The bypass settings are different. Bypass setting on UPF63R is 36psi. The bypass setting on the PF63E is 22psi. So, I WOULD NOT USE the PF63E.
