No major, recurring issues with the first generation of L5P trucks. One of the most common is the coolant tank sensor going bad. Another thing that owners have noticed is the TMAP sensor getting caked with soot and causing other issues. Other than that it's a solid platform and highly recommended.

Easy enough, but for anyone doing it, don’t take the shield with the housing. All you need to do are the two 13mm bolts at the back, top/side. You’ll understand when you look at it.

I question the parts total cause there’s more than just an injector that needs replacing like the high pressure pipes on these engines are one time use. And the fuel injector return pipe seals should be replaced as well.
