I really hope it's not the case that the only way to avoid getting an X in my quest book is to ask about the treasure during Count Reuven's Treasure. This is clearly the wrong choice and clearly not what Witcher Geralt would have done, but it is the only way, apparently, to avoid having a red X. For the OCD completionist I am, I cannot accept this.

I know you're supposed to use your senses and aard to break open the door. The problem is, when I use my senses, the door never turns red, and aard doesn't work. It says the door is locked.
