LCD dispatch is located at theTorrington FD HQ. at least that’s where I see an antenna structure that I believe is used for both CLMRN and the separate VHF frequencies assigned to county FD’s. Next door to HQ is the old firehouse, now a brewery, that sells specialty brews.For example, looking at the CT Land Mobile Radio Network (CLMRN) when downloaded into FreeSCAN, there are multiple groups [GRP] and what I believe are the sites [MP25]. CLMRN is a mindblowingly huge system and considering the number of agencies that you can monitor by punching in one control frequency is really awesome. When I want to demonstrate this to people I just pull up the list and watch their jaws drop LOLStamford is going to be a separate simulcast site, but it is part of the CLMRN core. It's already moved. APX7500X2 is not wrong in his statement on this, as he's not been all along. It's the exact same as New Britain, where all the Stamford comms will be on the Stamford zone only, and not onto the regional troop zones.

From my experience on trips to Austin, TX the SDS100 is far superior to the 436HP receiving simulcast systems. The SDS200 is also superior to the 536HP on CLMRN. When I drove through CT wih a 536HP in my truck there were often dead spots. No dead spots with the SDS200.
