P3400 code
I have a 2016 Honda Odyssey EX-L. It is at about 65k-70k miles and I have a persistent engine light coming on with code P3400 or P3497 "Valve Pause System Error: Stuck Off Bank 1". I have been told to simply change the oil and oil filter to fix the problem, this has not helped. The oil and filter have been changed three times now and the code ...If the pressure switch is what the problem is, the P3400 should turn into a P3497, which is the same code but instead of bank 1 it's bank 2. Then you know for sure the switch is bad. As for continuing to drive it, it should still be okay to drive as long as the engine is still running fine and not running rough or anything. 2. Reply.
