KA P/S 300 PG doc vs Kaplan P/S book . Basically what the title says. What did y'all use and which did you find better? I'm only gonna have time to use one of the two methods. And if you use the doc how'd did u actively learn from it instead of just reading it over multiple which is pretty passive.I have a comprehensive 5900 card cloze deletion deck that finely combs through KA's 300 page document. It's split by AAMC's sections, though. It also adds missing info from Kaplan's P/S (the anatomy parts).

Watching all the P/S KA vids on 2x (so 2.2x is even faster) speed takes just over 13 hours to do (someone did the math on this and I saved it for reference), so you can definitely fit in the videos and reading over the doc. Making the cards took me a lot longer than the vids, so I would stick with a premade deck based on the docs. 1.Follows the 300 page doc and is up to 7A currently. Use premed95' it is made by concepts so 6A 6B etc and has all the info in 950 cards ish. HomieG's deck is good and is really thorough overall. I'm about halfway done with it and it has definitely helped so far. Cubene's deck is quite good.

Im shooting for a 515. I used the 86 page one for my first mcat and the 300 page one for the second mcat. I liked the 300 page better. For my P/S content review, I used the 86 pg doc and premed95's anki deck. If I ever felt uncomfortable with something in the 86 pg doc, I'd watch the corresponding KA video. YMMV, but I ended up with a 132 in P/S. I did mostly self study for every concept I got wrong on Altius and Kaplan FLs, and KA for more broad content review. I also should have done more psych than I did with the 300 page doc, could have pretty easily bounced that score a couple points with a bit more time.The 300 page doc is literally everything that could be tested on the mcat for psych/soc. It is just more time efficient to go through that doc because you wont be wasting your time.
