Melee has an OP scrimshaw and Ranged has a janky build that exploits an awful familiar, big deal. There's still a whole style of armour that's dead content. Tank Armour specifically needs more support. Straight up, the system would make more sense if you deleted Melee and Ranged tank armour outright. There's no use case and no support for them.
