Does acceptance rate still matter if you are closest to the store. I know the title is confusing, but when I first started dashing 2 years ago it was to my understanding that acceptance rate was basically if 2 dashers were exactly the same distance from a restaurant/store, the dasher with the higher acceptance rate will get it.
After costs it was even more drastic. $275-300 compared to $25 to even NEGATIVE balance due to all the miles, long wait times, no tips, etc. The only perk was being able to see an order would pay more than stated.
