It looks to be a straight swap of open diff currently in my SE to the factory unit from a sport model.Lexus did not offer any models until the IS300 with LSD and yet many older SCs and LSs will spin both tires on a hard launch mimicking LSD. So, while the 100k mile diff that Jibbby has may not be perfect... it may actually function as an LSD. I use Mobil1 75w-90. It takes about 1.5qts. Mine’s an IS300 diff, not a Brz/Frs, but I can’t imagine there being a different requirement for fluid. The LSD really makes the car different (in a good way) to drive.
