I park my 2018 jl rubicon 2.0 for winter in Minnesota. I disconnect the positive cable for the 12 volt and then I disconnect the cable attached to the positive cable on top that connects to the 48v battery when I start in spring I connect the cables. I have no problem. battery stays charged

And once had 12.5V which the dealer said was OK and gave me a Jeep bulletin that stated normal voltage could be between 12.4 and 14.5 volts. I really dislike the smart charging system. The easy and simple answer, battery charging in controlled by the PCM and running voltage is based on battery temperature. Higher battery temps, lower voltage. Lower temps, higher voltage. In the 90's and 00's, that was true and a change in the charging systems to prevent overcharging the battery.

The OEM auxiliary battery was 200 CCA size group 12. The only new 200 CCA auxiliary battery I could find was a group size 14, which will not fit down into the auxiliary battery well. Not even Jeep sells the 200 CCA group 12 battery as of this time. Jeep only sells a 180 CCA size 12 battery.It's not always about batteries.
