Oil light flickering at idle. Yesterday just bought a 2016 Kia Soul Exclaim 2.0L from an individual with 105,000 miles. This morning I was sitting in the drivethru at the bank for about 15 minutes and I noticed the oil light flickering. Not on steady, but randomly flickering. As soon as I'd rev the engine, the light would go out.When our 2013 KIA Soul has sat idle for an hour or two after driving when it is started back up it often idles very roughly and will even kill and need to be restarted and then still run rough.
