The Kimpro will protect against corrosion better than the bluing. Also, if you like all black and all steel, the Super Carry Ultra HD is another option. With about 400 rounds through the Operator, I have had 2 FTF issues in the first 100 rounds, none since. The Operator has much better sights, and to me has less felt recoil than the Kimber.
