Feb 17, 2022 · The tap in the front is at the VESS fuse. The tap is modified to allow the remote control receiver to make or break the VESS circuit. The tap at the back gets power from a 12 volt power outlet circuit to run the remote control receiver. The receiver itself is mounted beside the brake fluid reservoir at the upper left. I was also irritated by the sound.. I was able to easily remove the connector from the VESS unit. Just push the tab in front of the connector and it will come off easily.
