Bowfa without crystal armour.

Crystal Armour + salve. So looked at the wiki and it only says it doesn't stack with the black mask, but will it stack with a full crystal set? Im assuming it does since it works with the full void set, but was wondering if anyone's gotten and confirmation. Yep it stacks. Dragon bolts are marginally better if flicking Smite due to their increased max hit. ^ Special effect will inflict 80 damage at 400 HP. ^ Especially useful with Frozen tablet for quick returns to the boss after resupplying.If your question is because you have both the tbow option is probably still better because of how good it is on the Wardens. Not sure about comparing it to tbow with other armours though. Tbow and elite void is always better than full crystal bowfa at zebak and p3 wardens, and bowfa ia only better than tbow void at 400+ p2 warden.Currently a crystal shard costs 15k if you use the cheapest method to get them, trading in enhanced crystal teleport seeds. So it'd cost 450gp* for each hit you take while wearing crystal armour, and 150gp per shot with the Fbow. Bowfa needs crystal armor to be worth it. You'd also need an extra ~2m in order to have a safety net for supplies and deaths as well. Personally, I don't think bowfa rebuilds are very good anyway.

Crystal if using bowfa/crystal bow. Karils otherwise. Crystal has lower mage defense, but higher range defense and prayer bonus. Because of the prayer bonus, it's a significant upgrade to blessed dhide in inferno, but in most places the magic defense from karils is more important.

It depends on what you plan to use it for. It is a niche armor, but it can be effective in those niche situations; not crazy powerful but effective. I wouldn't even say it is BIS anywhere; except for the Helms insane mage def. But it does give a huge accuracy bonus which can be useful against some bosses; for example, you can use it as a budget ...There's a massive difference in accuracy though. It's good for a lot of things yes. bofa is pretty decent without armor, not incredible however. Carlssen. • • Edited. Bowfa was 140m ish, Crystal was 6x armour seeds at around 6.3m a pop, corrupting the bow was the big headache as the money pretty much disappears. I farmed Crystal imps for a day or so, grew Crystal trees for a week which helped offset some of the cost for shards.

Full crystal with a regular crystal bow is probably alot better than you think, I was surprised when I used it on leagues. Yes crystal armour with crystal bow has better dps than blowpipe in many places. I use for greater demon tasks and absolutely smack. Insanely good almost everywhere. Though it does have the benefit of being quite a bit cheaper to use, assuming it’s corrupted. If not, then the cost of ammo and scales would be less than cost of corrupting for quite some time. 1. Finally upgraded to a Bowfa and full crystal!
