There are only 4 assignments that count towards your grade (participation, term paper, midterm & the final). Reading the book is important! Studying his lectures will increase your grade as well for tests! Dr Griffin is my favorite professor I have had while being at LSU. She genuinely cares about your grade and wants you to succeed. She has stated in emails how she feels her students have lives outside of school and she doesn't wish to impede on them, which is why she does not take attendance. OCS 1005 was pretty easy. Professor Benfield is very kind, but the lectures can be boring. Attendance is not mandatory, but he gives extra credit for attendance on random days. Our grade is made up of four exams, but the exams are very similar to our review quizzes. If you attend class and study and memorize the review quizzes, you will get an A.You're automatically going to get a C or lower on the paper. Too much writing for a 2000 level course.
