The best "scam" one I ever had I actually didn't think it was going to be a scam at first. It was from McDonald's in the morning going to the Starbucks a block up the street. It was a BIG order too. 16 breakfast sandwiches, and the good ones too with double meats and McGriddles and 8 hashbrowns.Scam/Death Threat. SCAM. Last week, I was finishing up my last order of the night and a decent paying order came through. It was about $9 for 3 miles, into a very nice neighborhood on a golf course. The night was going well. Then as I was pulling into the restaurant, my phone was ringing with "DoorDash" as the caller ID.DoorDash deserves a class action lawsuit over this. Very easy fix. If you change important info on your account (like your bank info or credentials), it should only happen with a two step authentication process via a confirmed code texted to your phone. Get your crap together DoorDash.
