HELP (Code P2ADA) 2017 L5P. After 153K miles my faithful Duramax gave me the infamous emissions service countdown. I went to my local GMC dealership for a diagnostic check, and they said the reduction tank heater was not working and suggested replacing the Emission Reduction Fluid Supply Pump Module, part number 84545446.
Having some issues with my 2017 l5p. Have been getting the p0191 code for the last year and a half. Very intermittent sometimes it’ll go into engine reduced power 5 times in a 20 minute drive and other times it won’t at all. Have changed the fuel pressure sensor and pigtail. It gets 30mpg on the highway at 65mph so I guess if it regens for 7% of the time then it will probably drop to 27 to 28 mpg. I question the parts total cause there’s more than just an injector that needs replacing like the high pressure pipes on these engines are one time use. And the fuel injector return pipe seals should be replaced as well.

My LML would pretty much instantly start within less than a second of cranking when not freezing cold. I'll have to time them and see if there is really a significant difference or just seems like a long time to me.

I would say your DIC is probably over by 1 mpg by my experiences with 23K mileson a '17 2500 LTZ. Mileage improved a little and I have never reset my 2nd mileage meter which reads 16.2 mpg for the average life of the truck with say 55% city and 35% highway and 10% towing.The CTS2 also has a throttle position indication. Lift pump is in the tank. If you have a cts3 or derringer check your lift pump pressure while driving. Soot levels rose 30% today driving 65mph Over 25 miles. I’ve done 2 regents this week over 500 miles. 1/3 highway driving 2/3 around town and backroads.
