I started losing chunks of mine at 36 weeks. Went on to have a spontaneous labor that started on 39+1. I had blood in the mucus plug the day before labor started so I’m assuming that was “bloody show”. Prior to that it was just huge obvious chunks of mucus plug every few days.

I lost mine with ds but still had to be induced, some people loose it during labour, right before labour, or weeks/days before labour. Unfortunately there isn't really much telling how far away labour is.
