For me (Orange County, CA): Dash Along The Way is not always available to me when that zone is grey, even with Top Dasher status. But if I drive into that grey zone, I can then Dash Anytime. I found a workaround to that. If you simply go to the schedule, you can schedule to that zone, and then immediately Dash along the way đ.
